One is too Many: Recognizing & Preventing Workplace Violence

15 million people are victims of physical or verbal assaults in the workplace. That means that 1 in 10 employees will be the victims of some sort of workplace violence this year. In a study conducted by Allied-Barton Security in 2011, 52% of employees have witnessed, experienced or heard about an incident of WPV. And yet ONLY 17% of workers believe their employers have a high interest in preventing workplace violence.

How many of your employers have a workplace violence plan in place?

Have you ever participated in a drill or training on workplace violence at your place of employment?
